How we check facts

1. Case numbers, judges and pending case counts come from the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation and the court's own MDL page.
2. Product safety facts come from the FDA or the manufacturer's own statements.
3. Each fact is labeled verified (we read the primary record) or reported (from news or law firm coverage).
4. Every lawsuit page shows the date we last checked it. Pages more than 45 days old are rechecked before they stay online.
5. Injuries are described as plaintiffs allege them. A lawsuit is a claim, not a finding.
