Privacy policy

What we collect
- Reading the site: our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse. We run no analytics or advertising scripts, set no cookies of our own (see the cookie policy) and do not sell or share personal information.
- Calling a number on a lawsuit page: the call goes through a call-tracking service to the participating law firm named on that page. The service records the time, length and calling number of the call so the firm can be billed for advertising; it may record the call only if a recording notice plays first. What you tell the firm is between you and the firm, under its own privacy policy.
- Email to us: we keep it to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Health information
The site has no forms and does not ask about your health, medicines or diagnosis. Anything you choose to tell a law firm on a call is collected by that firm, not by us.
How long we keep records
- Call-tracking records (time, length and calling number) are deleted 90 days after the call is reported to the participating firm.
- Emails are deleted within 12 months after the matter is closed, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Our host keeps its own technical logs under its policies.
What we never do
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, medical records or insurance numbers. We do not share your information with anyone other than the one law firm you choose to call. We never contact you first.
Your choices and rights
- Email privacy@lawsuitmap.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to ask us to delete it. We answer within 45 days.
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, and the site works the same either way.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Parents can write to privacy@lawsuitmap.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
